Q: What is the best software/browser to use when I access this
site?
A: We
encourage you to download the latest version of your favorite web browser. This site is
designed with features that take advantage of recent web standards. Some areas/features may not work properly if you are using
early versions (version 3 or earlier) of the most popular web browsers.
Q: Do you offer residential property listings online?
A: Yes! We have property listings from some of our largest cities. We have a
"Residential Homes" link at the bottom of every page. From there, you can choose
the city/area in which you would like to search.
Q: Are you going to add more cities to the Residential Homes area
in the future?
A: Yes. Those features are currently in development. We plan to add new cities/areas to
the property listings area in the near future.
Q: Can I use search functions to narrow down the list of
properties that I see?
A: Yes. You can search our listings by several basic criteria: price, the home's square
footage, and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. You also have the option to see a photo
of the home, if you desire.
Q: Do you offer commercial property listings online?
A: Yes. These properties can be found by selecting either the "Commercial Real
Estate" or "Other Real Estate" options located on each page.
Q: Do you have any other type of properties online, other than
commercial and residential?
A: Not yet. But there are plans to add resort and rental properties, among others, in the
near future.
Q: Can I find a directory of Realtors?
A: Yes. All Realtors have a page that details their company affiliation, phone number and
e-mail address. Other personal items of note include the member's real estate background,
professional specialties and even a photograph for select individuals.
Q: Can I send e-mail directly to Realtors?
A: Yes, if the Realtor has provided us with a valid e-mail address. On the Realtor's
resume page, there is an e-mail link which allows you to send mail directly to him/her.
Q: Can I find a list of real estate companies?
A: Yes, the features are very similar to ones found with the Realtor directory, with
addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
Q: Can I find a Realtor or real estate company in a specific
region?
A: Yes. You can narrow your search so that only Realtors or companies from a certain city
or area are selected.
Q: What is the "Other States" option on the left-side
menu bar of each page?
A: This site is part of "The Living Network," a national service that links
Living Network sites in more than 12 states. Those states include California, Florida,
Missouri, Massachusetts, Wyoming, Maine, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, New Mexico,
North Dakota and Connecticut. If you would like to search for real estate in any of these
states, select the "Other States" option.
Q: Can I find any information about communities?
A: Yes. It can be located by selecting the "Community Information" option at the
bottom of each page.
Q: What type of community information do you offer?
A: There is all types of interesting facts about the local government, schools and
tourism. There is even a link to current weather conditions for certain areas.
Q: Do you offer any information that might help a consumer to
buy or sell a home?
A. Yes. We have several articles in our "Homeowner's Resource Library" that can
assist you. This library is found in the "Consumer Information" area. There is
also information about mortgages, tax breaks and tips to find a helpful Realtor.
Q: What is the MarketPlace?
A: This is an area for advertisers to promote their products. If you would like details on
how to add your product to this area, send e-mail through the e-mail link at the bottom of
this page.
Q: Is there an easy way to get back to the home page?
A: Yes. Just click on the image in the top lefthand portion of the screen (name of the
Living Network site). This will take you directly to the home page.
Q: Why are some of your pages unreadable or inaccessible?
A: It is possible that you are not using a browser that is capable of formatting the pages
properly. We highly recommend that you download the latest browser software (version 3.0)
from either Netscape, Microsoft or America Online. This will likely clear up the problem.
